Great Work on the Updates

Overall, the Case Study I Updates were excellent. Thank you.

  • Many groups already have a named tool, a named organization, and a documented deployment.
  • Feedback is in comments directly in your Google Doc.
  • Today is for reading it and acting on it.

Today: Read, Discuss, Revise

  1. Read every comment in your Google Doc (individually, ~5 min)
  2. Discuss as a group: what is the biggest gap in Data, Tools, Practices, Actions?
  3. Decide who does what before Sunday
  4. Work on Part B of the template

Not sure what a comment means? Ask us while we're circulating.

Resources to Help You

I added resources to my feedback, found with help from Claude, to point you toward sources and angles you might not have found yet.

  • Look for them in the comments in your Google Doc.
  • Verify before you cite. Open the source, confirm it says what is claimed, and check the date and author.
    • I checked, but only briefly.
  • Citing a source you haven't read is still your responsibility, no matter who (or what) found it.

Case Study I Timeline

  • Case Study I is due Sun, Oct. 11 (Part B of template)
    • If you do not meet the standard, you will know by class time on Wed, Oct 14
    • Look for comments directly in your Google Doc
  • Revised Case Study I is due Wed, Oct 21 (Revised Part B of template)
    • Only if your group needs/wants to revise.
